Multi-Mono Mesh Flounder Net

Commercial-grade multi-mono mesh flounder fishing nets with floats on the top rope and a braided lead-core bottom rope. Designed for use in sheltered waters.

Available Sizes

• Mesh: 4.75 inch (118mm) or 5 inch (125mm)
• Lengths: 30m, 40m or 60m
• Depth: 30 meshes deep
• Mesh: 0.12mm × 6-strand multi-mono, approximately 15lb breaking strain
• Top rope: 5mm rope with floats
• Bottom rope: 5mm braided lead-core rope
• Configuration: Bagged and tied down
• Slinging: Approximately 50% ratio, with 2m of mesh used for every 1m of completed net length

The net is slung relatively loose to provide additional bagging when set.

Recommended Use

Designed for sheltered waters and is not suitable for surf beaches, dragging, or areas with significant oysters, shells or other conditions that may damage the mesh.

As a general guide, allow for at least 1kg of anchor weight per 10m of net at each end, with the appropriate anchor size depending on tidal flow and local conditions.
